Sony released Whitney Houston’s biopic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”!

Sony is bringing life to the American iconic singer Whitney Houston to the theater with her biopic “I Wanna Dance With somebody “.

However, Naomi Ackie is portraying the role of the legendary singer in the movie. The other cast members are Ashton Sanders, Stanley Tucci, Clarke Peters, Whitney’s father, and Tamara Tunie,  Whitney’s mother.

Moreover, the movie portrays the life of f  the iconic singer, which was a chorus girl from New Jersey and has become a best-selling recording artist. She has won many awards and has become one of the most awarded vocalists.

However, Sony has released the first look at the movie in which Naomi Ackie is shown for the first time.“Reach as big an audience as I can.” she says in the trailer.

Moreover, if you are a fan of her voice then you must be aware of her major hits like Greatest Love of All,” “I Have Nothing,” and the other one is “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”.

Furthermore, the American Singer made her debut in 1992’s romantic drama “The Bodyguard,”. However, this drama become a commercial hit, although there were some bad reviews.

Moreover, Houston has also played the role of Fairy Godmother in “Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella”. She has also remained a producer of two Disney movies: “The Princess Diaries” and “The Cheetah Girls.”

But then unfortunately she came under the influence of drugs which made her addicted. However, she died in 2012 at age 48 in the bathtub of a hotel.
